Photo Restoration, Manipulation, and Processing
Here's an example of photo compositing.
Photos were shot of Abbie in three locations around the tea party table. We varied her attire in each location. The table setup basically remained the same in each photo. The photos were manipulated, combined, processed with some vignetting, and text was added.

The final product was used as an invitation to Abbie's Birthday Tea Party.

Here's an example of photo restoration.
This image of a boy on a pony was taken in the early 1920s.
The original photo was scanned, and as you can see, it is badly worn.
Using editing software, the cracks and lines were removed, missing parts were reconstructed, and the image was cropped.

Here's an example of photo manipulation
This image of a groom and his groomsmen isn't too bad,
but the signs in the background are somewhat distracting.
Again, using editing software, the image is manipulated, and the signs removed making the final image more appealing.

Finally, we have two examples of post processing, giving the images an artistic enhancement.

In the city portrait, we wanted to draw focus to the face. By selectively dodging, burning, adjusting color, and adding a slight vignette...the focus is now concentrated on the model.

In the wedding bouquet image, we wanted to give the photo an angelic, yet surreal look. The use of several actions in the image editor helped us achieve the look we wanted.

Again, rolling the cursor over the image will show the final results.
